In August 2016, we decided to move away from a curvy, comic sans style "u" and towards a modern, clean look. We knew that we wanted to keep the essence of the StFX Students' Union brand, but refresh it and update our marketing style.

I Voted Sticker

The 2017 StFX Students' Union Election marked a decidedly different race than years prior. With multiple candidates for both the President & Vice-President Positions, there was never a clear favourite.  

As Print Media Manager, I led an effort to increase voter turnout through both print and digital media. Roughly 300 posters were plastered across campus the evening prior to the election, combined with a strong digital presence on both the StFX Students' Union, Golden X Inn, and Xaverian Weekly's social media platforms. 

I'm happy to say that these efforts helped to increase voter turnout from 17% in 2016 to 26%.
